MIFA#1 Bargaining Update

Negotiations between Frontier and MIFA I continued in the Escalation Stage in Washington, DC, from January 12, 2015, through January 16, 2015, without the parties reaching a tentative agreement.

The Company has made movement regarding Business Attire, Vacations, Stand By, and Union Time Off. A tentative was reached on the Holiday language. The Company and Union are still at odds over the following issues; hourly premiums, use of contractors, member contribution to healthcare, disability / retirement benefits and duration of agreement. There has not been any discussion as of yet concerning any economic proposals. The Union bargaining committee is not going to consider any proposals that will diminish wages, benefits or that will degrade your Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The week of February 2, 2015, is when the next session of the Escalation Negotiations are scheduled to be held in Baltimore, MD. Your continued support and solidarity for the IBEW Negotiating team helped create the movement that has taken place in the recent negotiation meetings. We will need your continued
support and solidarity throughout these negotiations.
